Accident – Death – Obituary News :
A body discovered in the River Don near Inverurie in Aberdeenshire has been officially identified as that of missing woman Hazel Nairn.
Hazel Nairn, aged 71, was last seen being swept into the River Don, close to Monymusk, on November 18, 2022, during severe rainfall.
Police recovered the remains of a woman from the River Don on May 7.

Authorities confirmed on Tuesday that the remains have been positively identified as those of Ms Nairn and her family has been notified.
The circumstances surrounding her death are not considered suspicious, and a formal report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
