The incident took place on June 15 at a home on the 5000 block of Barton Drive in Shawnee, where a 17-year-old and a woman were stabbed.
Court documents have revealed that Curtis, a former student at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and Arrowhead Day School, is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated battery, and aggravated burglary. The 17-year-old victim, whose identity remains undisclosed due to their age, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the woman involved suffered minor injuries.
