Authorities in Martin County, North Carolina have arrested a man in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred earlier this month. The suspect, identified as Anthony Beach, is currently in custody and facing multiple charges.

Incident Details

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious individual in the West Park Road area at approximately 4:30 a.m. on June 18. Deputies, along with officers from the Williamston Police Department, responded to the call and located Beach, who was subsequently detained for questioning.

Following an investigation, authorities collected evidence linking Beach to several vehicle break-ins in the West Park Road, East Park Road, Smith Lane, Gary’s Lane, McCaskey Road, and White Oak subdivision areas. These incidents reportedly took place between June 13 and 18.

Charges and Bail

As a result of the investigation, Beach has been charged with a total of 18 counts of felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, eight counts of larceny after breaking and entering, four counts of larceny of a firearm, four counts of felony possession of a stolen firearm, and one count of felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He is currently being held under a secured bond of £100,000.00.
