South Arizona Woman Arrested on Multiple Animal Cruelty Charges
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona has announced the arrest of 27-year-old Anna Fuller on June 21st, following a disturbing incident of animal cruelty. Fuller faces multiple felony charges after nearly a dozen dogs were found inside her bumper pull trailer parked on a roadway in Hereford.
Details of the Incident
The shocking discovery was made on June 10th when authorities received a report of a trailer abandoned on Hargis Ranch Road near Dakota Road. Upon investigation, deputies found ten dogs cramped inside the trailer without proper ventilation or access to water.
The dire conditions inside the trailer, exacerbated by excessive heat and clutter, posed a serious threat to the animals’ survival. Among the dogs were a mother and her seven 3-week-old puppies, all struggling in the stifling environment.
Owner Identification and Rescue Efforts
During the investigation, a man claiming ownership of one of the dogs arrived at the scene and confirmed Anna Fuller as the owner of the other nine dogs. The man was allowed to take temporary custody of his dog, while the remaining animals were taken to the Douglas shelter for urgent care.
Legal Consequences
Anna Fuller now faces a staggering 40 felony counts of animal cruelty for her neglectful actions. She is currently held on a $10,000 bond as the case undergoes further investigation by authorities.
