A shocking incident has come to light in Hyderabad, Telangana, where a 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and raped multiple times by a group of individuals in the Neredmet area. The heinous crime was reported to the authorities by the survivor’s mother, prompting swift action by the police.
The case was registered at the Kachiguda Police Station following the complaint filed by the victim’s mother. Sub-inspector Subhash from the station provided details of the incident, stating that the girl, who hails from Kachiguda, had a boyfriend living in Neredmet. The boyfriend reportedly took her out on several occasions on his bike, eventually subjecting her to sexual assault.
Subhash further revealed that the boyfriend introduced the girl to his friends, who also allegedly sexually assaulted her. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter to bring the perpetrators to justice.
This disturbing incident is a grim reminder of the prevalence of sexual crimes against minors in the region. Just recently, an 18-year-old youth was accused of raping a 5-year-old girl in Narasaraopeta, Andhra Pradesh. The victim’s parents lodged a complaint with the Narasaraopet rural police station, leading to a case being registered under the POCSO Act against the accused, identified as Chandu. Efforts are currently underway to locate the absconding suspect.
Authorities are working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals, and it is imperative for communities to come together to prevent such atrocities and support victims of sexual violence.
