Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A 14-year-old boy has been accused of fatally injuring a middle-aged man in a sectarian dispute in the village of Chak Chohdu, located in Gujrat’s Kunjah area. The incident, which has shocked the local community, has left many questioning the motives behind such a violent act.

Reports from local media suggest that the boy, identified as Rehan and the son of a mosque imam in the village, had a heated argument with Syed Nazeer Hussain Shah, a fellow resident, over a sectarian issue. The argument escalated quickly, resulting in tragic consequences for Shah.

Following the altercation, Shah was rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Kunjah in critical condition. Despite efforts to save his life, Shah succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family and friends in mourning.

Medical professionals at the hospital conducted a post-mortem examination on Shah’s body before releasing it to his grieving family. Meanwhile, a team from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency visited the crime scene to collect crucial evidence that could help in the investigation of the case.

Legal Action Taken Against Suspects

Upon receiving a formal complaint from the deceased’s brother, Shabir Hussain Shah, authorities swiftly took action by registering a case against three suspects involved in the incident. Alongside Rehan, the teenage boy accused of delivering the fatal blow, his uncle and father have also been named as suspects in the case.

The suspects have been charged under sections 302 (murder), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention), and 109 (abetment) of the Pakistan Penal Code. As the legal process unfolds, the community awaits answers and justice for the tragic loss of Syed Nazeer Hussain Shah.

Incidents of violence stemming from sectarian disputes continue to be a cause for concern in various parts of Pakistan. The need for tolerance, understanding, and peaceful resolution of conflicts remains paramount to prevent further loss of life and maintain harmony within communities.
