Accident – Death – Obituary News : President Joe Biden took to social media on Monday to strongly condemn a horrifying incident in Euless, Texas, where a 3-year-old Palestinian-American girl was the victim of a racially motivated attack. The President expressed his deep distress over the attempted drowning of the young child at a neighborhood pool, stating that no child should ever be subjected to such violence. The incident, which took place on May 19 at an apartment complex off of Highway 360 in Euless, shocked the community and sparked outrage nationwide.

The perpetrator of this heinous act, identified as 42-year-old Elizabeth Wolf, allegedly targeted the child because of her family’s ethnicity. According to reports, Wolf approached the victim’s mother, who wears a hijab, and made derogatory comments about her nationality. Subsequently, Wolf attempted to drown the child by dragging her into the pool and forcing her underwater. Thankfully, witnesses intervened, preventing any physical harm to the young girl.

Euless police swiftly responded to the disturbance at the apartment complex’s community pool and arrested Wolf on charges of public intoxication. However, she was later charged with injury to a child and attempted capital murder. Shockingly, Wolf was able to post bail and was released from custody within a day of her arrest.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called for both state and federal hate crimes investigations into the incident, highlighting the urgent need to address and combat racially motivated violence in the community. The Tarrant County District Attorney has confirmed that they are reviewing the details of the case, signaling a potential legal response to this appalling act of hatred.

In the wake of this disturbing event, President Biden’s public denouncement serves as a reminder of the importance of standing against intolerance and discrimination in all forms. The community in Euless and beyond has rallied around the victim and her family, offering support and solidarity in the face of such senseless violence. As the investigation into this hate crime continues, it is crucial that justice is served and that measures are taken to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future..
