Accident – Death – Obituary News :
ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– The Roanoke Police Department has announced the arrest of a man in connection to the homicide that took place on Cornell Ave on June 13.
The incident occurred on June 13, with officers responding to a report of a vehicle crash on the 2400 block of Cornell Ave. Upon arrival, Roanoke Fire-EMS personnel discovered 21-year-old Dontae R. Muse of Roanoke inside the vehicle, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Tragically, Muse was pronounced dead at the scene.
Working in conjunction with the U.S. Marshal’s Office, the Roanoke Police Department has taken Kyriq Rasheed Seabrooks into custody in relation to their ongoing homicide investigation. Seabrooks has been transported to the Roanoke City Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond.
