In a tragic incident that shook the city of Toronto, a 14-year-old boy has been charged with first-degree murder in a shooting that resulted in the deaths of two men and left three others wounded in a high school parking lot. The incident took place on a weekend in early June, and the suspect has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and seven counts of attempted murder.

According to Det. Sgt. Phillip Campbell, the senseless act of violence has left two innocent people dead and their families devastated. The shooting, which police have described as a mass shooting, occurred outside North Albion Collegiate Institute. Nine men had gathered in the parking lot after a soccer game when a dark pickup truck pulled up, and two suspects opened fire before fleeing the scene.

Upon arrival, police found five individuals with gunshot wounds, with four others escaping unharmed. Tragically, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while the other passed away a few days later. The deceased have been identified as 61-year-old Delroy “George” Parkes and 46-year-old Seymour Gibbs.
