Accident – Death – Obituary News :

An illegal alien, masquerading as a Melrose firefighter, has been apprehended on charges of identity theft and passport fraud, as per a recent State Department affidavit obtained by the Maine Wire on May 21.

Identity Theft and Deception Uncovered

The affidavit, penned by Special Agent Rachel Malcolm from the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), discloses shocking details about the Vietnamese illegal alien’s activities. The suspect entered the U.S. in 1979 and had a deportation order issued in the 1990s due to criminal behavior. However, the individual was never physically deported and later assumed the identity of Truong Nguyen, whom he falsely claimed to be his cousin.

identified as “John Doe” in the affidavit, the suspect stands accused of adopting the identity of a deceased person named HH, a 13-year-old who passed away, to fraudulently obtain a U.S. passport and secure employment opportunities. The true identity of the suspect remains shrouded in mystery as the DSS continues its investigative efforts.

Complex Web of Lies and Fraud

Doe, during questioning by law enforcement, spun a web of lies asserting that the HH identity belonged to him, while the Nguyen identity was allegedly stolen from his “cousin.” However, based on Agent Malcolm’s thorough investigation, which included analyzing multiple photographs of the individual under both aliases, it is believed that they are indeed the same person.

The Nguyen identity is linked to a lengthy criminal record, encompassing charges of larceny, embezzlement, and failure to appear at a deportation hearing in 1995. Despite the deportation order, the man using the Nguyen identity managed to evade physical removal from the U.S. In 2010, he was arrested for embezzling over $46,000 from the Norwell Firefighter’s Union while holding a position within the union.

Identity Theft Unraveled

Further scrutiny revealed that Doe submitted a passport application in March 2023 at a Weymouth post office, using HH’s personal details. The application raised red flags when a fraud prevention manager discovered that HH had passed away in 2002. Subsequent investigations uncovered that Doe had also acquired a Massachusetts driver’s license and other identification documents under HH’s name.

Investigations by the DSS unearthed that Doe/Nguyen exploited HH’s identity to apply for various roles, including positions as a paramedic and firefighter. The Melrose Fire Department confirmed Doe’s employment under HH’s name since January 2024. Additionally, Doe attended the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy under the assumed identity from November 2023 to January 2024.

Legal Loopholes and Voting Concerns

The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles identified Doe as holding licenses under both identities, leading to a fraud hearing in August 2018. During the hearing, Doe admitted to using the Nguyen identity but continued to assert HH’s identity as his own. Surprisingly, the 2018 fraud hearing did not result in deportation proceedings.

With access to two stolen identities and official documents supplied by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Doe/Nguyen could have potentially participated in multiple U.S. elections, raising concerns about the vulnerability of the voting system to fraudulent activities.
