EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Jasper Police Department in Indiana recently made an arrest in a disturbing case involving allegations of intimidation and strangulation with a deadly weapon. The suspect, identified as Delain Taylor, is now facing multiple charges following a harrowing incident that took place on Giesler Road.
According to a press release issued by the authorities, the incident unfolded on a Sunday when law enforcement received a distressing call regarding a female victim who had reportedly been strangled and threatened with a firearm at a residence in the 600 block of Giesler Road.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers were informed by the female victim that the suspect, Delain Taylor, was still inside the apartment along with two children. Despite initial reluctance on Taylor’s part to cooperate with law enforcement, he was eventually apprehended without further incident.
Fortunately, the children present in the apartment were found unharmed by the officers. In addition to the arrest of Delain Taylor, law enforcement also discovered a weapon and drug paraphernalia within the premises.
