Dasari Gopikrishna, a resident of Bapatla district, had moved to the US just eight months ago and was working at the Mad Butcher grocery store in Fordyce when the horrifying incident took place on June 21.
Victim’s Identity and Background
Gopikrishna was manning the billing counter at the store when the gunman opened fire, causing him to sustain fatal injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he tragically passed away the following day. The news of his untimely demise has left his family in Yajali, Karlapalem mandal, Bapatla district, devastated. He leaves behind a wife and a son.

The shooting at the grocery store claimed a total of four lives, with nine others sustaining injuries. CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the attacker entered the shop and targeted Gopikrishna behind the counter.
