Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Jacksonville Beach Police Department suspects that there may be additional incidents that have not yet been reported to authorities. This revelation comes after the arrest of a 44-year-old man, Brandon Boyd, who is facing charges related to a string of burglaries in the Jacksonville Beach area.

According to a news release from the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, officers were alerted to a “suspicious person” in the backyard of a residence on 2nd Street North around 6:30 a.m. Upon arrival at the scene, officers encountered Boyd leaving the property. Subsequent investigations led to the discovery of three more reported incidents in the vicinity.

Surveillance footage captured Boyd’s presence in the area, prompting police to believe that he gained entry to the residences through unlocked doors. In each instance, Boyd allegedly encountered the homeowners before fleeing the scene. In one particular incident, Boyd left behind a stolen electronic tablet.

Boyd was taken into custody and has been charged with burglary to an occupied dwelling/battery, loitering prowling, and exposure of sexual organs. Police are urging residents who may have experienced similar incidents to come forward and report them to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department’s non-emergency line at (904) 270-1667.

Authorities are concerned that there may be additional victims who have not yet notified law enforcement of similar encounters with Boyd. By raising awareness of these incidents, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department hopes to ensure the safety and security of the community.
