A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, as a 9th-grade girl took her own life by jumping from the eighth floor of a residential building. The young girl, identified as Varsha Sharma, reportedly felt isolated and friendless, leading to this tragic outcome.
Varsha, a student at Kendriya Vidyalaya school, left her home under the pretense of meeting a friend named Muskan at Dussehra Maidan. However, instead of meeting her friend, Varsha ended up at The Legacy Apartment in Gola Ka Mandir. Witnesses at the apartment saw her sitting and crying before the fateful incident occurred.
Concerned about Varsha’s behaviour, Muskan contacted her father, expressing worries that Varsha might harm herself. Tragically, before any intervention could take place, Varsha jumped from the eighth floor of the building. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Varsha’s death. While initial findings point towards suicide, Varsha’s family believes foul play may be involved and are pushing for a thorough investigation.
Muskan revealed that Varsha had sent her a message saying “GOODBYE,” followed by a heartbreaking confession that she felt friendless. This revelation has prompted the police to delve deeper into the relationship between Muskan and Varsha in the days leading up to the tragedy.
Varsha’s father, Komal Kishore Tiwari, a soldier stationed in Amritsar, Punjab, is devastated by the loss of his daughter. The family resides in Kunj Vihar Colony, Phase-2, Gola Ka Mandir, along with Varsha’s mother, Laxmi, and her younger brother.
As the investigation unfolds, authorities are determined to uncover the truth behind Varsha’s untimely demise and provide closure to her grieving family. The community is left reeling from the loss of a young life, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness and support for individuals struggling with feelings of isolation and loneliness.
