Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A tragic incident occurred in Chak 211 GB of Faisalabad’s Samundri tehsil, where a 14-year-old boy lost his life and six others, including two women, were critically injured in a crossfire between two groups on Friday.

According to local sources, the clash between the groups erupted over allegations against a man who was accused of having a relationship with a woman from the opposing group.

During the exchange of gunfire between the rival factions, a stray bullet struck a passerby boy, identified as Noaman Maseeh, leading to his untimely death at the scene.

Meanwhile, the crossfire also resulted in critical injuries to six other individuals, including the two women, who were promptly rushed to Samundri THQ Hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Upon receiving reports of the incident, CPO Kamran Adil visited the village, and the Mureedwala police claimed to have apprehended several suspects in connection with the altercation.

Recovery of Abducted Girls in Jhang

In a separate development, Jhang city police successfully located and rescued three sisters who were reportedly abducted from Bhakkar. The girls, identified as Ramzana (18), Salma (15), and Asia (13), were handed over to Bhakkar city police following their recovery.

However, the girls themselves revealed that they had left their home voluntarily due to alleged mistreatment and abuse by their parents and other family members, contradicting the initial abduction claims made by their mother, Jamila Bibi, in an FIR filed on June 13.

According to a spokesperson for the Jhang police, DPO Muhammad Rashid Hidayat facilitated the girls’ return to Bhakkar after being contacted by the authorities there. The girls were found safe at the residence of a former neighbour, dispelling any notions of abduction and confirming that they had fled their home out of fear for their safety.

This incident sheds light on the importance of thorough investigations and the need to verify claims before jumping to conclusions, as the truth behind the girls’ disappearance turned out to be vastly different from the initial allegations.
