Accident – Death – Obituary News : Jabalpur Police to Take Custody of Main Accused in Double Murder Case

Jabalpur police are gearing up to take custody of the 21-year-old main accused in the Jabalpur double murder case. The accused claims to have disposed of the weapon used in the crime in Bengaluru. The brutal murders took place in March this year when a 52-year-old man and his minor son were tragically killed.

Civil lines police station in charge, Dheeraj Rai, stated, “The accused will soon be taken into remand, and a team will be dispatched with him to Bengaluru to recover the weapon used in the crime. The minor accused girl has been sent to a juvenile home in Shahdol, where her behavior has been reported as normal.”

The incident occurred on March 15, with the victims identified as a railway employee and his young son. The boy’s body was discovered stuffed inside a refrigerator in Jabalpur. The deceased hailed from Piparia in Narmadapuram but resided in Jabalpur with his son and daughter following the passing of his wife a few years ago.

The deceased’s 15-year-old daughter informed relatives via a voice message that the accused, Mukul Singh, 21, had murdered her father and younger brother. Subsequently, evidence emerged implicating the girl in the crime as well.

Mukul Singh surrendered at the civil lines police station in the district on May 30, a few days after the police apprehended the minor daughter of the deceased in Haridwar.

This case has shocked the community, and authorities are working diligently to bring justice to the victims and their families.
