Accident – Death – Obituary News : Authorities have revealed that the altercation unfolded at approximately 1:41 a.m. on June 18, 2024, when deputies from the Wasco County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) and officers from The Dalles Police Department (TDPD) made an attempt to intercept a stolen vehicle on West 6th Street. The driver of the truck, 68-year-old Jimmy L. Ewing, also known as August J. Law, refused to comply with law enforcement, sparking a brief pursuit.
