A 19-year-old man was apprehended by authorities from the Pasay City Maricaban Police Substation in a recent operation dubbed as “Oplan Galugad” on the evening of Friday, June 21.
identified only as “Eboy,” the suspect hails from Barangay 179 in Maricaban, Pasay City according to Pasay City Police Chief, Col. Samuel Pabonita.
The arrest took place at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Saint Augustine and Saint Rita Streets in Barangay 178, Maricaban, Pasay City.
Law enforcement officers seized a total of 53.41 grams of shabu concealed in 64 plastic sachets with an estimated street value of P363,188 from the possession of Eboy.
Following his apprehension, Eboy was promptly transported to the police precinct for questioning and was subsequently charged with the illegal possession of narcotics.
