In a shocking turn of events, an attorney in Sequoyah County District Court has officially filed murder charges against an Alabama man accused of the brutal killing of two individuals in Gans, Oklahoma. Drake now faces two counts of first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to court documents filed in the case. The victims have been identified as Tara Underwood and Taylor Sharp.

The tragic incident came to light on June 18 when the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a disturbing scene at LaFerry’s in Gans, where Underwood and Sharp’s lifeless bodies were discovered by Underwood’s fiancé.

Seeking justice for the victims, the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office enlisted the help of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI) to launch a thorough investigation into the double homicide.

During the investigation, OSBI agents reviewed surveillance footage from the business, revealing a white man, later identified as Drake, entering LaFerry’s between 2:49 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. on the day of the incident.

Following the brutal murders, Drake reportedly fled the scene in Underwood’s vehicle, leaving behind a chilling trail of evidence. The filing indicated that no one else was present at the business until Underwood’s fiancé arrived.

Authorities later located the vehicle at a motel in Morrilton, where Drake was caught on the motel’s security camera wearing the same clothes and gloves as seen in the surveillance footage from Gans.

Upon his arrest, Drake presented an Alabama driver’s license to the Morrilton motel personnel, further solidifying his connection to the crimes.

Shockingly, Drake is now linked to a total of four homicides, including the two deaths in Gans. In addition, authorities have connected him to a homicide investigation in El Reno, Oklahoma, where 56-year-old Phillip Emerson was found dead at a residence on June 14, as confirmed by the El Reno Police Department.

Furthermore, Drake is a suspect in a homicide investigation in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where 62-year-old Russell Thomas Andrews was tragically found dead outside an Alcoholics Anonymous building on May 14, according to reports.
