Accident – Death – Obituary News : A gang of criminals targeted a 19-year-old college student in Ludhiana, robbing him at gunpoint near the Sutlej river on Thursday evening. The victim, identified as Sarthak Bansal, was driving his Maruti Suzuki Baleno car back home from the river after following an astrologer’s instructions.
The miscreants ambushed Sarthak, forcing him to stop his car and then brandishing a gun at him. They demanded that he exit the vehicle and proceeded to rob him of his gold chain, silver bracelet, wallet, and two mobile phones before fleeing the scene. The incident left Sarthak shaken and in shock.
Upon receiving the distress call, the police swiftly responded and launched an investigation into the matter. The Ladhowal police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the unidentified assailants. CCTV footage is being scrutinized to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Sarthak, a student at Amity University in Noida, was left traumatised by the brazen robbery. Fortunately, the police were able to recover his mobile phones near the site of the incident, providing valuable evidence for the ongoing investigation.
