HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Six men were apprehended on Wednesday in Holyoke as part of a concerted effort to combat human trafficking within the city.

The operation was carried out jointly by Holyoke authorities, the Hampden County District Attorney’s office, and the Massachusetts State Police High-Risk Victim Unit. The six individuals apprehended were charged with soliciting sexual services for payment. They have been identified as:

  • Jesus Rojas, aged 58
  • Jose Roque, aged 31
  • Anthony Mazza, aged 36
  • Gueris Rodriguez-Tejada, aged 27
  • Jesus Santiago-Rivera, aged 53
  • Gerald Taylor, aged 45

Similar operations have been conducted in Holyoke and Springfield over the past few months to combat human trafficking in western Massachusetts.
