LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Following a disturbance in Lancaster City on Wednesday, two individuals are now facing charges after attempting to flee from responding officers.
The incident took place at the intersection of Mill Street and Andrew Street at approximately 11:41 p.m. Authorities were alerted to the disturbance, with reports indicating that those involved were in possession of weapons.
Upon arrival at the scene, the suspects attempted to escape, prompting a pursuit by law enforcement officers. Despite their efforts to flee, the suspects were eventually apprehended.
During a search of the 17-year-old male, a Polymer80 handgun equipped with an extended magazine was discovered. As a result, the teenager has been charged with multiple offences, including being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a minor.
On the other hand, Jeremiah Rivera is facing charges of disorderly conduct and evading arrest in connection with the incident.
