Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Three members of a San Rafael family have been arrested by authorities for their alleged involvement in a series of vehicle thefts. The arrests took place in separate incidents that occurred in the city.

Mother and Daughter Arrested

On Wednesday afternoon, a mother and daughter duo were apprehended by law enforcement in San Rafael. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Diehima Sharie Collins, and her mother, 53-year-old Letta Neka Glover, were travelling in a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Newark.

According to San Rafael police Sgt. Justin Graham, officers attempted to stop Collins, but she refused to comply. A pursuit ensued, during which police deployed road spikes to deflate the vehicle’s tires. Despite this, Collins continued driving until a damaged tire caused her to stop on Hetherton Street.

Glover was arrested on charges of possessing a stolen vehicle, evasion, and criminal conspiracy. Collins faced similar charges, along with allegations of hit-and-run driving and driving without a valid license.

Son Arrested in Separate Incident

The following morning, police arrested Glover’s 38-year-old son, Deandre Ronell Lowery, for his involvement in a vehicle theft along Redwood Highway in San Rafael. Lowery attempted to flee from the authorities and was eventually located in a creek near Mitchell Boulevard, waist-deep in mud.

During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered stolen property that was linked to four auto burglaries. Graham stated that Lowery was also connected to three attempted vehicle theft cases, and the investigation is ongoing.

Lowery was taken into custody and booked into Marin County Jail on charges of vehicle theft and obstructing police officers. As of Thursday afternoon, he remained in custody on a bail amount of £25,000.

Legal Proceedings

Collins and Glover, whose bail amounts were set at £35,000, have been released on bail pending further review by the Marin County District Attorney’s Office. Attempts to reach them for comment were unsuccessful.
