Autopsies revealed that both girls succumbed to blunt force injuries sustained in a devastating jet ski collision on Lake Marie.
The preliminary investigation conducted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office indicates that Sarina Vootkur was operating a Yamaha jet ski with Elle Kim as a passenger at the time of the incident. The jet ski was reportedly travelling at a high speed when it collided with a moving boat operated by a 55-year-old man from Antioch, Illinois.
