Accident – Death – Obituary News : LONG BEACH – A tragic incident unfolded in Long Beach as authorities confirmed the death of a 43-year-old woman who was fatally shot on Thursday.

Based on reports from the Long Beach Police Department, the incident took place in the 2300 block of Locust Avenue around 3:25 p.m. on Wednesday. Police officers rushed to the scene to assist Long Beach Fire Department paramedics who were responding to a call about a woman in full cardiac arrest. Upon their arrival, it was discovered that the woman, identified as Myriam Zaragoza of Long Beach, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

In response to the shooting, homicide detectives were dispatched to the location to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. At this stage, the motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and authorities are actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation.
