Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Ghana Police Service has apprehended and detained three individuals suspected of being involved in a violent robbery targeting students and lecturers of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR). The incident took place on the Odomase-Badu road in the Sunyani West Municipality at approximately 1900 hours on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

According to a credible source within the Bono Regional Police Command, the arrests were carried out based on strategic police intelligence, with ongoing investigations to further uncover details of the crime. The suspects were found hiding in undisclosed locations, and upon their apprehension, the police recovered a significant number of stolen mobile phones and other valuable items.

During the robbery incident, which took place as the victims were returning from a field trip, the suspects violently attacked and robbed them.
