Authorities in Greene County, Tennessee are currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on Tuesday evening, resulting in a fatal fire at a residence on Lobo Loop. Multiple agencies, including the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, are working together to determine the cause of the blaze.

The fire was reported around 6:15 p.m. when fire crews were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, deputies from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department were alerted by a neighbor that there may be someone inside the burning trailer.

After gaining entry into the home, first responders discovered the bodies of a man and a dog. The victim has been identified as 31-year-old William Arrowood, who was a resident of the property. Arrowood’s body has been taken to the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center at ETSU for further examination in an autopsy.
