Accident – Death – Obituary News : VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / June 19, 2024 / Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX:FURY)(NYSE American:FURY) (\”Fury\” or the \”Company\”) has mobilized a drill to the greenfield Serendipity Prospect on its Eau Claire project in the Eeyou Istchee Territory in the James Bay region of Quebec. This exciting development comes as the Company aims to further explore the potential of this promising area.
The Serendipity Prospect, located within the same geological setting as the Company’s Percival deposit, boasts 10 robust geochemical targets with gold values up to 150 times the background levels. Historical drilling near Serendipity has revealed significant gold intercepts, including 7.9 metres of 1.23 g/t gold; 12.1 metres of 1.38 g/t gold, and 1.5 metres of 4.27 g/t gold. However, this historical drilling was conducted over 800 metres from the targets identified by Fury, where the geochemical anomalies are only half of the values being targeted.

The planned drilling at Serendipity will test three targets with approximately 3,500 metres of diamond drilling. The Company’s technical team has gained valuable insights into the pathfinder elements and structural controls on gold mineralization along the Percival to Serendipity trend. Broad low-grade gold mineralization has been observed along well-defined structural splays parallel to the Cannard and Hashimoto Deformation Zones.

The Serendipity Prospect is strategically located 16 kilometres northeast of the Eau Claire Deposit and 6.5 kilometres north-northeast of the Percival Deposit along the Hashimoto Deformation Zone. The upcoming drilling will focus on geochemical anomalies associated with prospective folded stratigraphy across approximately 2 kilometres of strike length.
