LONDON, UK (WLNS)– The tragic incident of a fatal collision involving a postal truck near Laingsburg has claimed the life of Talan Jones, an 18-year-old resident of Laingsburg.

Details of the Accident

On the fateful day of June 14, Jones lost his life in a collision with a postal truck at the intersection of E Parker Road & Hollister Road in Victor Township, near Laingsburg, at approximately 11:20 A.M.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department reported that Jones was ejected from his vehicle after crashing into the parked postal vehicle. He was immediately rushed to Sparrow Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.

Condition of the Postal Truck Driver

The driver of the postal vehicle, a 34-year-old woman from the Laingsburg area, also sustained injuries in the accident. She was taken to Sparrow Hospital for treatment, fortunately with non-life-threatening injuries.
