In a tragic incident in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, the Hampden District Attorney’s Office has released new information about the three individuals who were discovered deceased inside a residence on Main Street on Tuesday morning.
The victims have been identified as 56-year-old Sima Pariseau and 27-year-old Dylan Pariseau, both residents of Wilbraham. The third individual found dead, 56-year-old Peter Donaldson, also from Wilbraham, appeared to have succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to authorities, Donaldson was found with a semi-automatic pistol in his possession. The Wilbraham Police were alerted to the situation around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday and promptly responded to the scene.
During a press conference, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni explained the sequence of events leading to the discovery of the deceased individuals. “An individual familiar with the residents and with access to the property went to check on them and made the grim discovery,” Gulluni stated.
Upon arrival at the home on Main Street, officers attempted to make contact by knocking on the door, but received no response. Subsequently, they peered through the first-floor windows and spotted an unresponsive figure in the living room.
Entry was gained through an unlocked door, where authorities found Donaldson in the living room. Further investigation led to the discovery of two gunshot victims in the basement, both having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities believe that Sima Pariseau was the mother of Dylan Pariseau, and that Donaldson was in a relationship with Sima. It is also believed that all three individuals resided in the property where the tragic events unfolded.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing, with the Wilbraham Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Hampden District Attorney’s Office working collaboratively to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
