The wife of the victim of a tragic road rage incident in Pavia town, Iloilo Province, is resolute in her decision to pursue legal action against the sports car driver accused of intentionally causing her husband’s death.
Shiefryl, the grieving widow, has made it clear that she will not entertain any offers of settlement, as she believes that her husband’s life is priceless.
The alleged perpetrator, identified as Rudolph de la Rosa, also known as “Bobot,” hails from Calinog town, Iloilo.
Recounting her memories with her late husband, Shiefryl shared that she and Rave had been together since she was just 12 years old, forming a bond that lasted through the years. She described Rave as a hardworking, loving, and responsible partner.
Tragically, Rave met his untimely demise when a sports car struck him and ran over him in a fatal incident that occurred on the evening of June 1, 2024, in Barangay Pandac, Pavia.
According to a witness named “Jimmy,” the driver deliberately targeted Rave, reversing the vehicle to run over him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
While Shiefryl is currently recovering from the injuries she sustained during the incident, the road to full physical and emotional healing is a long one. She underwent surgery on her left leg and received treatment for a blood clot in her head, resulting from the traumatic event.
As she navigates the challenges of her rehabilitation, Shiefryl is determined to seek justice for her beloved husband and ensure that the responsible party is held accountable for their actions.
