A human arm discovered on an Illinois beach has been positively identified as belonging to Sade Robinson, a 19-year-old woman from Milwaukee who was tragically dismembered following a date with the man now suspected of her murder.

The arm was found on May 11th by an individual walking along the Waukegan Municipal Beach, as confirmed by the Lake County Coroner’s Office. Through the use of DNA analysis, the arm was conclusively linked to Robinson, providing closure to her grieving family.

Robinson’s loved ones were informed of the identification on Tuesday, further deepening their sorrow over the loss of their beloved daughter and sister.

Located approximately 50 miles from Milwaukee, the beach where the arm was discovered now holds a somber connection to the tragic events surrounding Robinson’s death.

In a statement, Coroner Jennifer Banek expressed heartfelt condolences to Sade’s family and friends, acknowledging the ongoing pain they are enduring in the wake of this devastating loss.

Verona Swanigan, the attorney representing Robinson’s family, issued a poignant statement expressing the deep anguish felt by Sade’s mother, Sheena Scarbrough, in response to the gruesome details emerging about her daughter’s murder.

Additional remains, including a torso, another arm, a severed right leg, and a foot adorned with pink nail polish, were discovered at various locations in April, shedding further light on the harrowing circumstances of Robinson’s death.

Robinson’s 2020 Honda Civic was located on April 2nd with significant interior damage from a fire, as detailed in a criminal complaint filed in connection with the case.

Swanigan revealed that Scarbrough is still yearning to gather all of her daughter’s possessions to facilitate a final journey back home for Sade, underscoring the ongoing trauma and uncertainty faced by the grieving mother.

Expressing her anguish over the unknown fate of her daughter’s remains, Scarbrough is haunted by the possibility that Sade’s head and the rest of her body may still be undiscovered, adding a layer of agony to an already heart-wrenching ordeal.

Maxwell Anderson, a 33-year-old man from Milwaukee, was apprehended by authorities and charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson in relation to Robinson’s murder, following their date on April 1st.

CCTV footage from the area where the severed leg was found reportedly captures a human figure descending towards the beach, while additional recordings from a bus and a convenience store purportedly show a man walking away from a burning vehicle, aligning with the details outlined in the criminal complaint.

Anderson has entered a plea of not guilty and is currently being held on a bail amount of $5 million as legal proceedings unfold.

Swanigan reiterated the family’s desire for Anderson to provide a full confession, enabling them to finally lay their beloved Sade to rest and find closure amidst the ongoing anguish and uncertainty.

In a poignant plea for answers and closure, Scarbrough implored for the truth to emerge, stating, “I want my daughter’s remains! Sade should not have to spend eternity lost because of Anderson’s evil agenda,” underscoring the profound pain and desperation that has consumed her since the loss of her daughter.
