A gruesome murder that took place in broad daylight on a street in Palghar, Maharashtra, has shocked the local community and garnered widespread attention online. The horrifying incident was captured on video by a passerby and shared on the internet, sparking outrage and disbelief.

The victim of this heinous crime has been identified as 22-year-old Aarti, a resident of Vasai in Palghar, located in the Konkan subdivision of Maharashtra, approximately 100 km from Mumbai. The perpetrator, 29-year-old Rohit Yadav, attacked Aarti as she was on her way to work around 8 am on a Tuesday morning.

The CCTV footage of the incident shows Rohit approaching Aarti from behind and striking her on the head with a heavy spanner, causing her to collapse on the road. Despite her attempts to get up, Rohit mercilessly continued to bludgeon her, with a passerby trying to intervene but being pushed away by the assailant.

Rohit ruthlessly struck Aarti at least 17 times with the spanner before callously discarding the weapon near her lifeless body.
