Accident – Death – Obituary News : An Arroyo Grande resident is currently behind bars with a bail set at £100,000 after allegedly assaulting his partner and causing harm to a child on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at a motorhome parked on the 700 block of S. Elm Street, where a caller reported a disturbance shortly after 10 a.m. Responding officers discovered a woman and three children seeking refuge at a nearby business.

Reports indicate that the victim had been residing in the motorhome with her partner, identified as 22-year-old Joshua Cullen, along with their four children. During an argument, Cullen reportedly physically attacked the woman, prompting her to flee with three of their children. Unfortunately, she was unable to evacuate their infant.

Upon contacting Cullen, he cooperated with authorities and was subsequently booked into the San Luis Obispo County jail. Child Welfare Services were called in to take custody of the children for their safety.
