A routine traffic stop conducted by Officer James Mastrogiovanni of the Dudley Police Department in the early hours of Tuesday morning resulted in the arrest of a Dudley man on drug-related charges.
During the stop on Schofield Ave, 30-year-old Heriberto Rodriquez was found to be driving with a suspended Massachusetts driver’s license, prompting a search of his vehicle.
Upon inspection, a substantial quantity of suspected Adderall and Ecstasy pills, along with $2,265 in US currency, was discovered by the officers.
Charges and Arrest
Following the discovery, Rodriquez was immediately taken into custody and is now facing multiple charges. These include operating after the suspension of his license, trafficking in Class B substances (Adderall) weighing 100 grams or more, and possession with intent to distribute Class B substances (Adderall and Ecstasy) as subsequent offenses.
After being held on a $10,000 cash bail, Rodriquez was brought before Dudley District Court for arraignment later that same morning.
