Upon discovering Jones with gunshot injuries outside the house, the police immediately administered aid before transferring her to Banner University Medical Center. Tragically, Jones succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Another female victim was also found nearby with non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment. Additionally, a teenage girl and a man arrived at different medical facilities with gunshot wounds sustained during the shooting.

Two of the teenagers were taken into custody near Golf Links Road and South Pantano Road, while the third was found at a residence in Vail, southeast of Tucson.
