The incident unfolded in the 22900 block of River Birch Drive following complaints about a male individual found unconscious in a vehicle obstructing traffic flow. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement officers discovered the driver, identified as Enroy Levy, asleep at the wheel with an 11-year-old child in the car.
Levy exhibited various signs of inebriation, prompting deputies to conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which confirmed his state of intoxication. Child Protective Services were promptly informed, and the child was later released to a responsible guardian who arrived at the location.
Subsequently, Levy was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail. He now faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger. Details regarding his bail and court proceedings are currently unavailable.
