DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Dawson Creek, B.C., have announced the identification of human remains discovered in April as those of Darylyn Supernant. Supernant had been missing since March 2023, one of four individuals who vanished from the area.

Following a DNA comparison with Supernant’s parents, the police were able to confirm her identity from the remains found on April 19.

The investigation into Supernant’s disappearance and subsequent death is said to be ongoing and active, with authorities continuing to gather evidence.

Last month, Dawson Creek Mounties had revealed that another body found along the Kiskatinaw River had been positively identified as Renee Didier, who was Supernant’s cousin.
