Tragic Events Unfolded in Pittsfield

The tragic incident took place on August 25, 2019, in Pittsfield. Pittsfield Police responded to a call about two masked men seen in the vicinity of 66 South John Street early in the morning. As officers were en route, gunshots rang out in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered Stephanie Olivieri in her car, with a severe head injury caused by a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by emergency services, Olivieri succumbed to her injuries at Berkshire Medical Center.
