SHEIKHUPURA: A tragic incident unfolded in Farooqabad city near Pandour village, Sheikhupura, late on Monday night, claiming the lives of five individuals from the same family and leaving another injured. The catastrophe occurred when a vehicle collided with their motorcycle, and according to Rescue 1122 officials, speeding was the primary cause of the accident.
The deceased individuals, who tragically lost their lives in the collision, included a father, two sons, and two daughters. The injured individual, a young girl, is the man’s niece. The family was en route from Amar Sadhu to Gujjar Pura in Lahore to celebrate Eid ul Adha with their relatives when the collision occurred.
Following the collision, rescue officials promptly arrived at the scene and transported the bodies of the deceased and the injured individual to a nearby hospital for further medical examination and treatment.
The victims have been identified as Shahzad, aged 26, Fiza, aged 10, Mehak, aged eight, Faizan, aged 12, and Sufyan, aged six. The injured individual has been identified as Noor, a 15-year-old girl, the daughter of Riasat.
