Accident – Death – Obituary News :

WAUKEGAN, Ill. — DNA testing has confirmed that a human arm that washed up on a Waukegan beach belongs to Sade Robinson, a 19-year-old woman who was identified as a victim in a Milwaukee murder case back in April.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) informed the Lake County Coroner’s Office (LCCO) of the DNA results on Tuesday morning, according to a press release from the LCCO.

Robinson’s family was notified of the DNA testing results by the MCSO shortly after the confirmation from the LCCO.

The arm was discovered on Saturday, May 11, around 8:30 p.m. at Waukegan Municipal Beach. The LCCO was called to collect the arm, which was mostly intact, and conduct a forensic analysis to confirm the victim’s gender and age range, now identified as Robinson.

“On behalf of the Lake County Coroner’s Office, I want to express our sincere condolences to Sade’s family and friends who continue to endure this tragic loss,” said Lake County Coroner Jennifer Banek.

Maxwell Anderson, a 33-year-old man, has been charged in the Milwaukee murder cases where Robinson was named as a victim. Anderson faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson in connection with Robinson’s death, according to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County circuit court.

Anderson, a resident of Milwaukee, was arrested on April 4, two days after a passerby discovered a leg at Warnimont Park in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The leg had been severed just below the hip.

Robinson was reported missing on April 2 by a friend. An employee of the building where Robinson lived mentioned that she was excited about a planned date on April 1, according to the complaint.

Surveillance footage from a restaurant showed Robinson and Anderson sitting together at the bar on the evening of April 1. Her burnt car was found the following morning.

“At this point in time, we don’t believe there are any other victims out there,” Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball stated to the media back in April.
