Accident – Death – Obituary News : A man from York County is set to face trial on charges related to the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl, invasion of privacy, and engaging in sexual acts with an animal. Ryan Anthony Peters, 39, of Spring Grove has rejected a plea deal and is scheduled to stand trial during the week of September 9, 2023. The charges stem from three separate cases, and Peters’ attorney, Korey Leslie, has requested additional time to review the evidence, which includes a cell phone containing alleged child pornography and videos.

The incident was reported to the Pennsylvania State Police on July 3, 2023, by the 16-year-old victim, who stated that the assault took place on June 29, 2023, at Peters’ residence in Codorus Township, York County. The victim had accompanied her mother to a cookout at Peters’ house, where the assault allegedly occurred. Peters, who was a friend of the victim’s mother, was present at the gathering along with his roommate, Jadzia Martin.

Following the report, Troop J, York Criminal Investigation Unit took over the investigation and discovered that Peters had been registered as a sex offender since 2007. In 2009, he was convicted of Statutory Sexual Assault and Failure to Comply as a Registered Sex Offender. A search warrant executed on July 11, 2023, at Peters’ residence led to the discovery of cameras with SD cards containing footage of multiple victims in compromising positions without their consent.

The SD card evidence revealed disturbing acts of violence and exploitation, including the recording of sexual acts without the victims’ knowledge. Additionally, a separate investigation during the search warrant uncovered footage of Peters and two others engaging in the mistreatment of a dog, including sexual intercourse. The timestamp on the footage indicated that the offense occurred just days before the search warrant was executed.

The trial for Peters is expected to shed more light on the disturbing allegations against him and provide justice for the victims involved. Stay tuned for further updates on this case as it progresses through the legal system..
