Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Three children, identified as Khandi, Malik, and Amelia, have gone missing after a day out at Thorpe Park. The last known sighting of the two girls and a boy was captured on CCTV at a florists in Chertsey, where they went inside to ask for directions to the nearest train station.

The children appeared untroubled when they spoke to the owner of the shop, Sam Williams. CCTV footage shows 14-year-old Khandi conversing with staff while Amelia, nine, and Malik, seven, wandered around the House of Flowers store. The two younger children are said to be related.

The timestamp on the footage is 3.50pm, and the children were reported missing three hours later. Sam Williams mentioned that the children seemed calm and were not in a rush. The elder girl, Khandi, did most of the talking and they left the shop heading towards the train station.

Jess Gibelli, who was also present in the store, added that the older girl asked for directions to Abbots Way and the train station. The children seemed happy but unfamiliar with the area, indicating that they might not be local residents.

Police Search and CCTV Footage

Despite Surrey Police conducting a major search for the missing children, they had not yet spoken to Sam or collected the CCTV footage from the shop. The footage shows the older girl in a white tank top, grey leggings, and black sliders, with black-rimmed glasses and a headband. She is followed by the younger girl in a white long-sleeved t-shirt and a ponytail, and finally, the young boy in a green, white, and blue striped top.

It is believed that the children may have traveled to London, as they were last seen heading in that direction after leaving the park. Trains from Chertsey to London Waterloo run approximately twice an hour, with an average journey time of 51 minutes.

Appeal for Help and Support

Surrey Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the missing children. Khandi is described as a slim-built girl of 160cm height, wearing black or grey jogging bottoms, a white top, white trainers, black framed glasses, and multiple bracelets. Amelia, a slim European girl of 110cm height, was last seen in grey jogging bottoms, a grey long-sleeved top with ‘Believe’ written on it, and white trainers. Malik, a slim boy of 110cm height, was wearing black jogging bottoms, black trainers, and a green long-sleeved top with stripes.

If anyone has seen these children or has any information about their whereabouts, they are urged to contact Surrey Police quoting reference number PR/4524. Thorpe Park has stated that they immediately implemented safety procedures upon learning about the missing children and are cooperating with the authorities in the search.

The local community is encouraged to come forward with any information that may help locate Khandi, Malik, and Amelia and ensure their safe return.
