Jesse Stone : “Teen Accused of Assaulting Elderly Woman in Marion County”

In a shocking incident that has rocked the community of Marion County, Florida, a 91-year-old woman was brutally attacked in her own home. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the arrest of a teenage boy in connection with the assault.

According to official reports, the elderly woman was awoken in the dead of night on Sunday, June 9, by an intruder in her home. She was subjected to a vicious assault, which included physical violence and sexual abuse.

The victim was rushed to the hospital following the harrowing ordeal, where she recounted the terrifying events to detectives. It was revealed that the suspect, identified as 14-year-old Jesse Stone, had violently attacked her before fleeing the scene.

Investigations by the sheriff’s office led to the arrest of Stone, who was located at North Marion High School on June 13. He was taken in for questioning, during which he confessed to entering the woman’s home with the intention of watching pornography before carrying out the assault.

Stone now faces charges of sexual battery and burglary and has been remanded to the Department of Juvenile Justice. Sheriff Billy Woods expressed shock at the heinous nature of the crime, particularly given the young age of the perpetrator.

“It came as a shock that any individual would commit such an act on a 91-year-old, but it is truly disturbing when we see the young age of the arrestee,” Sheriff Woods said. “Although I firmly believe he should be held accountable for his crime, as a father, my compassion goes out to his family. Hopefully, his arrest will lead to getting him help that prevents any further such acts.”
