Accident – Death – Obituary News :

On June 15, Christin Hale and Adam Hollon found themselves in a frightening situation when they noticed a Chevrolet Tahoe following them and flashing blue lights that resembled those of a police car. Growing suspicious, they decided to keep driving and not pull over.

Their suspicions were confirmed when the Tahoe was later pulled over in Springboro, and the driver, identified as 52-year-old Dennis Meade of Middletown, was arrested on a charge of impersonating a police officer. Meade was found to have a loaded gun in his waistband and ammunition in his pocket.

Hale described the terrifying experience, stating that the Tahoe hit the shoulder on state Route 741 in Miamisburg, turned on its lights, and started following them as if it were a police car. Hollon, who was driving with Hale and their two children, called 9-1-1 and managed to evade the driver.

Hollon expressed his shock at the extent of the impersonation, noting that the Tahoe had all the equipment of a police car, including wheels, a spotlight, PA system, radios, sirens, and more.

Meade was taken into custody by a Springboro police officer and was held in the Montgomery County Jail on the charge of impersonating a police officer. The incident serves as a reminder to always be cautious and alert while on the road.
