The cash reward for information regarding a shooting in Uniontown in May that tragically led to the death of an 18-year-old has been raised to £1,500. Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is providing £1,000 of the reward, with an additional £500 donated by a generous private individual.

Authorities were alerted to the shooting incident on May 4th on the 100 block of Baskin Street in Uniontown. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered the 18-year-old victim, Delvin Tarver from Auburn, who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound.

The Union Springs Police Department is urging anyone with information related to the shooting to come forward and assist with the investigation. Those who have information can contact the department at 334-738-3131.
