Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in the Lake Hughes area as 41-year-old Daniel Reinhardt. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that Reinhardt succumbed to multiple blunt force traumatic injuries in the tragic incident.
The accident took place late Friday night when a vehicle struck Reinhardt while he was riding his motorcycle along Trail E and Elizabeth Lake Road. California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene after receiving a distress call at 11:07 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Reinhardt had been ejected from his motorcycle during the collision. Despite efforts by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics to save him, Reinhardt was pronounced dead at the scene.
