Indore: A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, where a 13-year-old student tragically died after jumping from the 14th floor of a building. Media reports have confirmed that the CCTV footage from the building and initial investigations suggest that the young girl, identified as Anjali, took her own life.
Young Anjali, a seventh-grade student at Advance Academy School, left her home in the morning as usual, accompanied by her father. However, the CCTV footage revealed a shocking turn of events as Anjali, instead of heading to school, entered a nearby apartment building, made her way up to the 14th floor, and tragically jumped to her death.
The motive behind Anjali’s drastic decision remains unclear at this point, and local authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
Living with her family in Indore, Anjali’s father works as a manager at CCI Container Corporation, while her elder brother is a student in the 11th grade at DPS School. Originally from Pune, the family relocated to Indore from Vishakhapatnam in March 2024.
This unfortunate incident marks the second suicide case in Indore recently, following the death of an engineering student who took her own life by hanging last week.
According to reports, the engineering student left behind a suicide note expressing her inability to meet her family’s expectations and achieve her personal aspirations.
