ST. LOUIS COUNTY (First Alert 4) — A tragic incident occurred on Sunday night on I-270 in St. Louis County, resulting in the death of a young woman.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol released a crash report detailing the events leading to the fatal accident. The report stated that the woman, identified as 25-year-old Valerie Randle of Florissant, was travelling westbound on I-270, east of I-170, when her vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a utility pole at approximately 9:40 p.m.
Emergency medical services arrived at the scene and pronounced Valerie Randle dead. The loss of a young life has left the community in mourning.
