Authorities from the New York State Police are currently investigating a tragic UTV crash that resulted in the death of one individual and left another seriously injured. The incident occurred on Saturday night in Jefferson County, specifically at 24851 Mullin Road in the Town of Brownville.
Details of the Accident
At approximately 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Troopers from the state police headquarters in Watertown responded to reports of a single UTV personal-injury accident. The investigation revealed that a Polaris Ranger 900 UTV was travelling south on Mullin Road when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to strike a utility pole and veer off the right shoulder of the roadway. Ultimately, the UTV came to a rest on its passenger side, facing north in the west shoulder.
Victims of the Crash
The operator of the UTV has been identified as 38-year-old Timothy Queior from Dexter. Tragically, Queior was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The passenger, identified as 28-year-old Brandon Sherman, also from Dexter, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by Lifeflight to Upstate Hospital for further medical treatment.

State Police were joined at the scene by emergency responders from Guilfoyle Ambulance and the Brownville Fire Department, who provided assistance and support during the aftermath of the crash.
